Mainframe Infrastructure Sessions: Room D first floor

Session Evaluation

Abstract

Data privacy, especially with GDPR, PCI DSS, etc., is crucial. Hackers are finding new techniques to obtain this data, and sell it for big bucks. Microservice applications running with Docker and Kubernetes should protect the data they process by making use of encryption, but this is often far from a trivial task, and can require re-engineering of existing unsecured applications. In this session you'll learn about a set of attack vectors being used to obtain this information, and what you can do to mitigate against them. We'll show how Secure Service Containers for IBM Cloud Private can be used to secure an existing application with minimal code changes, to provide mandatory encryption at rest and during transport.
